In 2018, I sign up with Remote Year and spend 1 month in a different country for a year.

We were 50 remote workers paying a fee to not have to care about travel logistics so we can focus on making money online and see the world. A brilliant idea. When we were in Thailand and about to leave for Argentina, so about to cross the insanely large Pacific ocean, I decided to take a curve and make a stop in New Zealand by myself for 2 weeks in between since it was in my reach. I found small RV online and explore the north island which has a big volcano in the center called Mt rouapero. In this very volcanic world I went off trail until I couldn’t tell if I was on Earth anymore. Were they clouds or just volcanic steam? Probably both.
