Auction houses traditionally operate on a live bidding model, but many had a growing need to sell inventory outside of auctions. These “ghost” items—products that didn’t make it to auction or remained unsold—lacked a dedicated sales channel. To address this, we needed to introduce a retail-style app that would seamlessly integrate with our existing auction platform while maintaining a familiar experience for both buyers and sellers.
